I am reaching out to our customers, business partners, suppliers and general stakeholders about the emerging news regarding the COVID-19 coronavirus – particularly the decision by the World Health Organization classifying this as an official pandemic.
It strikes us as important – as a supplier to hospitals, surgery centers, laboratories, blood centers and other related medical facilities around the world – that we communicate the state of the Shamrock Labels operations located both in Bellwood, Illinois and in Orange, California.
We take great pride in supplying a vast medical community with important products that assist in the identification of medications, specimens, records, and equipment. Custom labels in particular can illustrate important information in bold colors and language to enhance communication during difficult times.
We know that our products, amongst many others in the medical supply chain, are critical to ensure consistent and regular medical care. We participate in an inspiring group of health care professionals who are rising to the occasion by increasing supply levels, improving procedures for infection control and altering staffing plans to achieve an appropriate level of readiness.
Shamrock Labels is making plans to ensure we remain open in order to provide supplies to our customers. We are taking all necessary precautions to prevent customer disruption including adding stock to our shelves and making ourselves available to rush orders – at no additional charge.
I want to also stress the importance of assessing your current supply levels in order to get orders in now. There are no guarantees that every product will be immediately available.
If we can participate – in some small way – to ensuring medical facilities gain access to the products they require, then we can feel we have done our part in a unified approach to care for those in need.
